Kabul: Afghanistan and Pakistan aren't getting along these days. The Taliban's latest trick? They made a map called 'Greater Afghanistan' that treats a lot of Pakistan's land as their own. It grabs almost all of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and some of Balochistan. The Taliban never liked the old border from 1893—the Durand Line. But this map makes it feel like a real challenge.
Aamz News says it happened at a school event in Khost province, at the tech and job training place. They gave the map to Taliban leader Mohammad Nabi Omari, who's the number two in the interior ministry. People at the event saw the map up close. It omits the Durand Line, portraying a much larger Afghanistan that extends deep into Pakistani territory. It's like the Taliban saying, "We're proud of our history," but also playing politics to get folks excited at home.
In his speech, Omari told Pakistan, "If you start a war with us, we'll fight back hard—like we did against the Russians and Americans. This is bad timing. Fights are already happening on the border, and Pakistan has bombed spots near Afghanistan. It's making everyone nervous.
People who study this say Pakistan's border attacks and sending Afghan refugees home are pushing the Taliban over the edge. At the Khost event, they played songs that threaten Pakistan. One says they'll put up their flag in Lahore and burn Islamabad. Words like that build hate and make trust between the countries even harder.
India's being smart. They've sent food and help to Afghanistan lately to keep peace without taking sides. The UN and other groups are worried sick. They think this could mess up the whole area. Some experts say the Taliban is using the map to bug Pakistan and get cheers from their own people.

Experts think it's part of the Taliban's big dream. They want to prove no one bosses them around anymore—not even Pakistan, which messed in Afghan stuff for years. Pakistan has enough problems inside. This could make Pashtun people there mad and cause more trouble.

The border fight is old news, but now it feels scary. The map isn't good for Pakistan or the peace in South Asia. If no one talks it out, it might turn into a big problem soon. We need leaders to sit down and fix this before it gets worse. Hope they do.
